The Connection Paradox: The Psychology of Connection - my Keynote

One of my 2025 highlights was the exciting challenge of presenting a Keynote speech on "The Psychology of Connection" to the Live Events Industry courtesy of The Manual London, a live experience agency.

This was thrilling to say the least! It gave me a chance to explore and research the psychology of where we're at as humans in our hyperconnected digital world. But I ALSO got to challenge the industry that I grew up in, to work harder and move beyond surface-level shallow connections to really think about how they can deliver "Connection +" - connection with presence, meaning, autonomy and community.

The live audience responded well and it was such a pleasure to see the message get through!
